I need a catchy name for this season of my life. Something that encompasses the whole kids at school but I have less time than ever thing. I swear, I accomplish more tasks by 7:30 am than some people's entire day.
Meanwhile, Taylor has her surgery tomorrow. (Technically, today. I'm up late doing laundry! It's the only time I have to do it! Literally!) At any rate, Taylor has her surgery in a few hours, and to prepare, I took her to the grocery store and let her pick out a bunch of soft, mushy foods: yogurt, popsicles, mashed potatoes, puddings... that sort of thing. And we made sure to purchase some liquid pain meds, because I don't think she will be up to swallowing pills for a few days. And she picked out a big, comfy night shirt to wear. Originally, she had this whole outfit planned. I nixed it because after getting your throat and nose messed with, you don't want anything tight by your neck. She also got to pick out her very own bubble bath. I tell you what, we are THE HOUSE to recoup from surgery in.
AND Troy's birthday is this week. He's going to be thirty six. I have inquired as to what he would like to eat for his birthday dinner, and have tried to find out what kind of birthday dessert he'd like. He has not answered my pleas, therefore, he will have whatever the heck I feel like making (which is really code for: whatever I already have all the ingredients for).
I have also been trying to sell this stupid carpet that doesn't fit in our little house, and there are NO TAKERS. One lady thought she wanted it, but the carpet was not quite the right color. UGH. I just want it out of my shed. It's taking up valuable storage space.
Anyways, I'm going to try to snatch a few sleeps before our lovely hospital visit!
