I've been going to bed earlier, which has made my mornings go more smoothly. As long as I have showered and dressed before the kids wake up, then we have a calm morning. If I'm not up, or if I have to get ready while the kids are also getting ready, well.... all hell breaks loose.
In other news, my teeth are mostly fixed! I no longer have any painful, exposed roots beginning to yellow! I am very happy with the results. Of course, I still have two gaping holes in my mouth where some very dead teeth had to come out... However, they are hidden in the back, so nobody can see them. (I just know they're there, is all.)
The kids also got all their Valentines ready to pass out at school. They wanted to design their own, but instead, they got to put stickers on skittle packets and call it a day. Seriously. Nobody keeps all the Valentines that kids give. I do feel a little bad that they weren't more personal. I think the whole point of a Valentine exchange is to feel how good YOU feel when you're giving (or serving) someone else. You know, that whole "when ye are in the service of your fellowmen, you're in the service of your God" thing. The point isn't to GET Valentines. It's to GIVE them. And now I've guilt tripped myself into a tizzy. We'll have to make some Valentine treats for the neighbors or something.
