Today is my birthday.
I have to be honest, I'm a low key kind of girl. Which is funny, because I make super awesome birthday decorations and stuff for everyone else. It's just that when it comes to OUR birthdays and OUR holidays, I'm a no muss, no fuss kind of gal.
At any rate, we celebrated by going out to lunch. Which means that I didn't have to make lunch, or do dishes, which is pretty much the best birthday gift ever. Plus, I got to take a nap today. If you don't understand why that's amazing, we can't be friends.
In other news, I have a small outpatient procedure happening next week... it's a colonoscopy. Because everyone should get those all the time. Okay, probably not, but it's not my first rodeo, so I'm not worried about it. And the children are going to spend the night with friends, so I'll have all three bathrooms all to myself, for "prep" the day before. It's the little things that make a difference.
And now, I have to go hide Easter eggs, because we believe in magic at our house.
