Tuesday Confessional

I hide from my children.

I'm not talking all the time, every day.

It's just that every now and then,

They're absolutely crazy.

And while I like to pretend that there's a reason for the insanity,

Truthfully, I don't think there is.

I think the do it just because they can.

So sometimes I send myself to "time out."

And I go upstairs,

Close my bedroom door,

Lock it,

And pretend I can't hear.
